Businesses in Bolton North East can now apply for the Covid-19 Local Restriction Support Grant (LRSG).
The grant supports businesses that have been required to close due to temporary local restrictions imposed by the Government to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Smaller businesses can apply for a grant of £1,000 for every three weeks of localised restrictions, whilst larger businesses can apply for a grant of £1,500.
Following the Health Secretary’s announcement today aligning Bolton with Greater Manchester restrictions, businesses in Bolton are still eligible for the grant if they were forced to close by the localised restrictions announced on September 8.
This includes bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants as well as businesses such as bowling alleys, indoor skating rinks, casinos, soft play and conference centres and exhibit halls.
Commenting, Mark Logan said:
“It’s excellent news that localised restrictions previously imposed in Bolton North East are finally set to align with those for Greater Manchester.
This will help many Boltonian businesses who have missed out over the last few weeks and are desperate for financial help.”
The applications will be administered by Bolton Council’s Business Rates Team. To apply for the grant and see if your business is eligible please visit: www.businessbolton.org/localrestrictionsgrant
