Bolton North East MP, Mark Logan, is calling for a coordinated effort to emerge from the lockdown measures that have been in force since 31st July.
Mark Logan commented on the latest government review that has advised restrictions are yet to be lifted for Bolton, and will be up for review again in one week’s time.
Speaking on the announcement Mark said:
“Obviously I want to see us coming out of these latest lockdown measures immediately. And to do so we need to work as a community to follow the guidelines from government. I am optimistic that if we adhere to the guidelines, we can lift the measures currently in place in the not too distant future”
Mark also welcomed the announcement that even more granular data will be published in order to strengthen our local approach to tackling the virus.
Commenting on the data as it relates to Bolton, Mark said:
“It is true that the numbers for Bolton are currently not highly disturbing, however with this nasty Coronavirus we cannot take anything for granted. I really do urge Boltonians to do everything we can to follow the latest guidance and there’ll be light at the end of the tunnel”
