The Kings Coronation weekend looks set to be momentous occasion across Bolton, the United Kingdom and the world.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
In Bolton, the Town Hall will be lit up in full colour and the streets adorned in bunting.

Designed to bring neighbours and communities together to celebrate the Coronation and share friendship, food and fun.

Monday, May 8: Bolton's Big Help Out
The Big Help Out raises awareness of the work voluntary services provide and captures the goodwill of locals willing to support good causes.
On Victoria Square, from 11am to 2pm, Bolton CVS will be hosting the first ever ‘Volunteers Market’ where voluntary organisations and charities will profile their work and highlight opportunities for people to contribute to the local community.
There will also be live music, street performers and family entertainment as well activities keep young people entertained.
