The Bolton Council of Mosque’s role in our community is vital in empowering groups and individuals to effect positive social change. I was pleased to be invited to their centre, alongside Bolton’s other Members of Parliament to meet with local leaders to discuss the conflict.
I’ve held a strong relationship with the community since my election in 2019, and it was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces along with new leaders within Bolton North East. The exchange was heated, but tremendously useful as your MP to hear honest feedback. It gave me a direct opportunity to outline my thoughts and what actions I could take as your representative as we moved throughout the conflict.
