The Prime Minister has outlined his 10-point plan for a Green Industrial Revolution, but what will this mean for Bolton?
Mark Logan MP is determined it means more jobs and a growing local economy, revitalising Bolton’s manufacturing sector.
In the Chamber this week, the MP for Bolton North East pressed government to ensure that the North West is set to benefit from the 10-point plan, putting Bolton in a strong position for future green technology opportunities – including electric vehicles.
Speaking in the Chamber, Mark Logan MP said:
“What support can be provided to help Bolton to explore green technology opportunities, especially electric vehicles, boosting our local job market and future growth?”
Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the Minister for Business, Energy and Clean Growth, responded:
“I’m delighted to see the Honourable Member championing the North West and the opportunities the Green Industrial Revolution will bring to Bolton.”
With a total of £12 billion of government investment ringfenced for the Green Industrial Revolution, Mark Logan MP is right to be pushing for green opportunities in Bolton.
