On behalf of my constituents in Bolton North East, I wrote to the Foreign Secretary to convey the strong sentiment expressed by constituents about the developing situation in Gaza.
Jamia (New) Madina Mosque on Gower Street is home to many of my constituents. The sense of warmth felt from both Committee members and worshippers at the mosque is one of the many reasons I enjoy revisiting.
The Bolton Council of Mosque’s role in our community is vital in empowering groups and individuals to effect positive social change. I was pleased to be invited to their centre, alongside Bolton’s other Members of Parliament to meet with local leaders to discuss the conflict.
